Angelica is a lovely compact girl out of Canadian Multi-ribbon winner Major-B. Major is very dense with exceptional coverage, excellent character and fine fleece. His fiber stats in 2003 at 2 years of age were AFD 19.5 SD 4.5 CV 22.8 with 1.9% fibers over 30 microns. Major-B is a gorgeous medium fawn boy with a gentle personality which he has passed on to Angelica. She is registered as MF but has taken on a beautiful red tint to her fiber.
Angelica has a nice compact body and typey little head with gorgeous big eyes. She has excellent conformation with her back straight as a board and perfectly straight legs. She's always curious about everything and being the youngest has plenty of energy to playfully run with the cria. She has lots of color in her background including TB, MB, MRG, MF and her coloring is more maroon than fawn, so we certainly expect her to throw beautifully colored cria. She carries the fineness of her sire.
Angelica gave us a beautiful LB boy 6/3 out of 2005 Silver Nat'l Grand Champion Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud. Her boy is luscious, fine like mama with full coverage from from to back. She has now been rebred to our DSG Rincon boy Don Diego for a 6/08 cria.
All animals at Alpacas at Morning Star Ranch have tested BVD negative.
